These mounts are designed to completely support the engine and transmission with durometer options to suit all styles of driving. Bushing recommendations:

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

    Testing the Prototype

    I was fortunate enough to test the prototype for this mount thanks to the team at AWR. FYI: My experience with the mount may differ from any others as I have the 62 durometer RMM installed and had a failing transmission at the time of testing. This is on a 2016 Mazda 6 Sport AT. Initial impressions when turning the car over were surprised at the increase in cabin noise and vibration. Once driving, the complete absence of slop between gears was immediately apparent, and pedal response was as close to perfect as I have ever experienced. Any hesitation/lurching at low speeds is non-existent as well as at higher speeds or while using the sport shift. The NVH increase I experienced may be influenced by the failing transmission which is being replaced currently and is having a new OEM mount paired with it. I will be reinstalling the AWR trans mount in the near future and will update my review with notes on how it feels with a transmission in good working order!
