Bushing recommendations:

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 62 durometer (ultra soft)
  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

*OEM motor mounts are known to be very sloppy and often break unexpectedly, order AWR's and never replace a mount ever again! Check out our limited lifetime warranty.

Application:

  • 2014 - 2017 Mazda 6

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in our engine mounts and sway bars that as of May, 2008 we are now backing them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What’s more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, we’ll fix or replace it at our discretion. The warranty is ‘limited’ in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we’ll replace or repair it. As of now, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied for any other items.

3rd gen mazda 6 passenger motor mount

The mount is a beautiful piece of art!! Nearly too nice to install! Finished installing it earlier today. The powder coat was very thick and pretty much all the holes were too tight and the hardware wouldn't fit. I had to file and dremel to slightly enlarge the holes. Once that was done it fit well and wasn't difficult to install. The strap that attaches the mount to the frame was grey so I sanded it and painted it back, it blended much better that way in my opinion. I now have all 3 62 durometer mounts on my 17 mazda 6 gt. As for the NVH it's definitely there but does calm dwn after break in. My car is an auto so I feel it more but it has lessened as they have broken in. It's not a deal breaker and not bad, as soon as I step on it the vibes basically go away! Thanks awr!!!

    One of a kind

I was fortunate enough to test both prototypes of this mount and have still have the 2nd prototype installed. I've got about 2k miles on it now, all of which have been the VT-Racing supercharger installed as well. NVH increase was almost non-existent, and the only noticeable change there was the tone of the supercharger whine, which I believe is from the engine being more firmly planted to the engine cradle, with substantially more contact surface over the OEM mount. The engine movement when changing from Park > Reverse > Drive was reduced considerably. Under WOT it feels like there is much less slop when shifting at redline and overall it has a great feel. I'm running this with the 62 durometer rear motor mount and will be running it like this as long as the car still drives! Huge thank you to Tony and Ali for making this possible, you guys rock!!
