Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in our engine mounts and sway bars that as of May, 2008 we are now backing them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What's more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts and sway bars built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, we'll fix or replace it at our discretion. The warranty is 'limited' in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we'll replace or repair it.

    Mazda 2 dog bone

This is a high quality part that is very easy to install. Really improved the shift quality of my car. It does cause some low frequency vibrations but it’s not bothersome. I only have about 200 miles since I installed it hopefully the vibrations will dissipate a little with time. Even though there’s a little more vibration the benifits in shift quality and no more of the rubber band feeling is totally worth it. The engine and transmission feel as one now. I’m running the 70 duromoter bushing. Thanks for the excellent product.

    Manual dogbone Mazda 2

Just installed this yesterday, and the difference is night and day! Purchased the 62 to start with, but so far it is perfect for me. If I want to stiffen the bushing up later it is very easy and cheap to do. Good job on a quality part I love it!

    Mazda 2 Dog Bone mount

Absolutely some type of sorcery. Like many others have said....wish I did this on day one. At 70 duro there is a change to NVH, honestly for the better. Just enough to make the car feel and sound alive. It would take too long to really describe how much better the car is just driving around changing through gears. Totally different, how you wish it was from the factory. Cheapest, easiest, and most effective upgrade I’ve ever done to a car.

Why haven’t you fitted one of these yet?

Posted by HiroshimaSpirit on 23rd Nov 2020

A must for any Mazda2. This mount is the standard in our community, and you will thank yourself when the car doesn’t fall on its face during aggressive 1-2 upshifts. You will also have better throttle response and clutch feel. Installation is a breeze and the quality of the part is unmatched. 70 durometer is the way to go for a daily driver. Upon first installation you will notice a sharp increase in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), but worry not! After a week or so everything will settle and you’ll forget about it while reaping all the benefits. Don’t hesitate on this mod!

    Mazda 2 Rear Mount

Should have purchased this for my 2 sooner! Throttle response is more immediate, gear changes are more crisp. Couldn't recommend more.

Great customer service, ordered and had the product in two days! Installed the mount last night and let the wife take the car out. The install was straight forward and simple! We chose the 90 Duro for our Deuce and the NVH are not that bad. The car feels 1000% better, shifting is better, the car feels solidly underneath us and inspires more confidence on track. Quality part, quality service and a must upgrade for all Mazda 2 owners!

Very first Mazda 2 Automatic Dog bone

Posted by Dave on 23rd Jun 2019

When I ordered this for my kid's car, I didn't think about auto vs manual trans. When the dog bone arrived, I realized that I had made a mistake. Then AWR's awesome customer service kicked in and they built me the very first torque reaction link (dog bone) for an automatic Mazda 2. Thanks guys! If your car has felt like there was a big rubber band between you pressing the throttle and anything happening, this dog bone will fix that problem. If the throttle reaction on your car has felt laggy or twitchy, this dog bone will fix that. If you were wondering if your engine was running, this dog bone will fix that - a fair bit more vibration will make it into the car. If you have old engine mounts, you'll probably want to replace those as well. Overall, I am very impressed, both with the customer service and with the difference this installing this dog bone made. It was worth every penny.
