Product Overview

2004-2016 Mazda3 and MazdaSpeed3 passenger side motor mount. If you are ordering this item specifically for a Mazdaspeed 3 please order 88 or 95 durometer bushings. 62 and 70 durometer bushings are available but not recommended. Mazda 3 is now available in 62, 70 , 88 and 95 durometer bushings. This is a fully fabricated steel motor mount and all items are laser cut, CNC folded, and tig welded. They are then powder coated and assembled with our Energy Suspension urethane bushings and nickel plated steel inner sleeve for that long lasting durability. A definite improvement for those who are experiencing wheel hop or sagging factory mounts. This is the cure for sure. Pair this with our lower rear mount and drivers side transmission mount!

Bushings:

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. Don't forget- you can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be replaced!

Customer input:

On Wednesday Tony Woodford of AWR installed the passenger side mount on my 2011 Speed 3. My other mounts are stock as of right now, but they will be changed out shortly. Once the mount was installed we took the car for a test drive and I immediately felt the difference. The car was way more positive feeling to my throttle inputs and it was a great improvement with the torque steer of the car. The mount also gave the car a deeper sound as well. The stock mount is way to sloppy for the car and I feel that it takes away from the sporty feeling of the car. As for ease of installation it took only took about 35-45 minutes with some simple tools. The quality and craftsmanship of the mount is great and everything lined right up. We also relocated the stock ground strap that is attached to the stock mount.

 

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in their engine mounts and sway bars that they back them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What's more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts and sway bars built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, AWR will fix or replace it at their discretion. The warranty is 'limited' in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we'll replace or repair it.

    Bought my 2008 Speed3 with an AWR transmission mount already installed. When my passenger motor mount finally went out, I already knew what I wanted to get! AWR hooked me up with 10% off and free 2 day shipping! Have had the mount in for about a week now and I love it! Went with 88 durometer.

    Bought this mount and had it installed recently. Such a huge improvement over the OEM cast mount. Car feels torquier and has less overall vibrations. Worth every penny spent!!!

    This production is great. The build quality and welds are great. But instructions would be nice to have to know the torque spec of the middle bolt (that holds the bushing). I just torqued it to 50 ft lbs. I don’t know if that’s what is needed, but I’ll see. Plus I had torelocate the ground wire, keeping in mind one point attaches to the chassis while the other point attaches to the engine. I relocated the ground wire further inward on the frame rail, and the other point attaches to the timing cover. Another option on 2nd Gen MS3's you can attach the chassis ground to AC line tab.

    So far I've had the AWR motor mount for my 2009 Mazda 3 for a week now, man what a difference I wish I would have done the upgrade ages ago. The quality of the mount is really top notch definitely recommend this product, and the customer service is great too. Thanks AWR Vancouver Canada

    Really Solid, Easy to Install, Works Well

    I'd say the hardest part of the installation was getting the clips apart for the coolant reservoir sitting above the mount. Took about an hour to install. The bolt through the bushing should be torqued to 45-50 ft-lbs! No instructions were included in my box but a quick Google search pulled up a tutorial with pictures. The install is very straight forward though. As for driving, the engine is super solid on that side now. There's a noticeable improvement when shifting and accelerating. Vibrations increased a bit but I already had an 88 duro RMM installed. Can't wait to get my TMM too!

    Great mount. Solid and fits the application correctly. Easy install. Barely noticeable vibration increase. I noticed vibration only when air was on at idle. As others noted, quicker throttle response and no hop. Transmission shifts are more crisp with reduced lugging at lower speeds. I highly recommend this as the best replacement mount out there for this car. Thanks AWR!

    Slapped this baby in and immediately from turning the key noticed the difference. A lot of vibration with the 88duro but I don't mind it. Engine sounds a little meatier to me, you may not notice the difference with stock exhaust but I'm not sure. Also, down shifting isn't as jumpy. Doesn't buck the car. Haven't put the AWR rear mount 88duro in yet but I have it and will install it soon. Definitely worth the upgrade my fomoco mount was in two pieces. Don't know how it was holding my engine in place. I knew it failed, didn't know it was in 2 pieces. Literally had separated itself. If you are just daily driving and don't plan on a bunch of mods stick with the 70duro.

    Perfect Fit, Robust Design

    This mount oozes quality and strength. After the destruction of another OEM mount, AWR came through in a pinch and got me this mount shipped to my door Ricky Tick. Installation took less than thirty minutes and the results are awesome. With the 70 durometer, there is minimal shaking at idle with the A/C on, no extraneous noise and vibrations during normal driving, and the powdercoat even matches the paint! I have no doubt this mount will outlive the car. Thanks AWR!
