Product Overview

AWR Racing's 2004 - 2013 Mazda 3 passenger side mount is a must have for any Mazda 3 owner. Want less engine movement, cleaner shifts, wheel hop to disappear, as well as many more benefits? Look no further - AWR Racing has you covered! AWR offers the best valued mounts that suit driver needs. We have durometer options for daily, aggressive, and track driven builds. Our mounts have been street and track proven since 1995.

These mounts are designed to completely support the engine with durometer options to suit all styles of driving. All of our bushings can be replaced at any time. Mounts improve drive line response by inhibiting driveline lash, putting all that motion to the task of moving the car along.

Items included:

AWR Mazda 3 passenger side mount

  • Made in the USA
  • Laser cut and CNC folded
  • Tig welded
  • Aftermarket mount hardware
  • Machined inner sleeves, nickel plated
  • Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (62, 70, 88, and 95 durometer applicable for the Mazda 3)
  • Powder coated in Silver for a very durable finish.

What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 62 durometer (ultra soft)
  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

Customer input:

"On Wednesday Tony Woodford of AWR installed the passenger side mount on my 2011 Speed 3. My other mounts are stock as of right now, but they will be changed out shortly. Once the mount was installed we took the car for a test drive and I immediately felt the difference. The car was way more positive feeling to my throttle inputs and it was a great improvement with the torque steer of the car. The mount also gave the car a deeper sound as well. The stock mount is way to sloppy for the car and I feel that it takes away from the sporty feeling of the car. As for ease of installation it took only took about 35-45 minutes with some simple tools. The quality and craftsmanship of the mount is great and everything lined right up. We also relocated the stock ground strap that is attached to the stock mount."

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in their engine mounts and sway bars that they back them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What's more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts and sway bars built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, AWR will fix or replace it at their discretion. The warranty is 'limited' in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we'll replace or repair it.

    Passenger mount

After having for couple hours I can say great product . A little vibration but if you have damaged mounts and it's rattling like mine was man night and day. If you going from stock then maybe more vibration then your use to. But nothing noticeable when not idling and again no where near broken in the mounts . Better response when accelerating. I got the 80 duro so mines are a little stiffer than stock recommendation. Super happy customer ... Oh yeah be patient with delivery lol it's coming

    Great product!

Posted by Fernando Maia on 23rd Apr 2021

If i could rate 10 stars I would. Very easy install, very well machined and painted, the 70 duro is perfect for my application (daily/spirited drives, 2011 mazda 3s) car feels more responsive and crisp, shifts feel stronger and enter more smoothly. The engine is more pronounced and I enjoy hearing the valve timing change at higher rpms. Besides the product, customer service is top notch. Tony and Ali were with me the whole way through, answering questions and offering advice. This is a great company overall.

    Great Product!

Bought my 2008 Speed3 with an AWR transmission mount already installed. When my passenger motor mount finally went out, I already knew what I wanted to get! AWR hooked me up with 10% off and free 2 day shipping! Have had the mount in for about a week now and I love it! Went with 88 durometer.

Bought this mount and had it installed recently. Such a huge improvement over the OEM cast mount. Car feels torquier and has less overall vibrations. Worth every penny spent!!!

    Perfect but...

Posted by Martin on 3rd Nov 2020

This production is great. The build quality and welds are great. But instructions would be nice to have to know the torque spec of the middle bolt (that holds the bushing). I just torqued it to 50 ft lbs. I don’t know if that’s what is needed, but I’ll see. Plus I had torelocate the ground wire, keeping in mind one point attaches to the chassis while the other point attaches to the engine. I relocated the ground wire further inward on the frame rail, and the other point attaches to the timing cover. Another option on 2nd Gen MS3's you can attach the chassis ground to AC line tab.

Really Solid, Easy to Install, Works Well

Posted by Matt on 10th Jul 2019

I'd say the hardest part of the installation was getting the clips apart for the coolant reservoir sitting above the mount. Took about an hour to install. The bolt through the bushing should be torqued to 45-50 ft-lbs! No instructions were included in my box but a quick Google search pulled up a tutorial with pictures. The install is very straight forward though. As for driving, the engine is super solid on that side now. There's a noticeable improvement when shifting and accelerating. Vibrations increased a bit but I already had an 88 duro RMM installed. Can't wait to get my TMM too!
