Look no further - AWR Racing has you covered! AWR offers the best valued mounts that suit driver needs. We have durometer options for daily, aggressive, and track driven builds. Our mounts have been street and track proven since 1995.

AWR Mazda 3 passenger side mount

Hardware/spacers

Specs:

  • Made in the USA
  • Laser cut and CNC folded
  • Tig welded
  • Aftermarket mount hardware

What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 62 durometer (ultra soft)
  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

Customer input:

"On Wednesday Tony Woodford of AWR installed the passenger side mount on my 2011 Speed 3. My other mounts are stock as of right now, but they will be changed out shortly. Once the mount was installed we took the car for a test drive and I immediately felt the difference. The car was way more positive feeling to my throttle inputs and it was a great improvement with the torque steer of the car. The mount also gave the car a deeper sound as well. The stock mount is way to sloppy for the car and I feel that it takes away from the sporty feeling of the car. As for ease of installation it took only took about 35-45 minutes with some simple tools. The quality and craftsmanship of the mount is great and everything lined right up. We also relocated the stock ground strap that is attached to the stock mount."

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in their engine mounts and sway bars that they back them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What's more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts and sway bars built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, AWR will fix or replace it at their discretion. The warranty is 'limited' in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we'll replace or repair it.

Quality Product, Should Include Torque Specs

Posted by Ben M on 10th Sep 2013

So I received the mount today and installed it right away. Install was a breeze. Only 2 hiccups; first, on my 2008 Mazda 3S Hatch, there was a ground wire/clamp that bolted between the two chassis bolt holes with the OE mount. I had to relocate this with the AWR mount due to the solid bottom plate. Luckily, there is a threaded hole on the passenger shock tower on my car that I was able to use as a replacement, even if only in the short term. Second, there were no torque specs or instructions included with the mount. Although install is very straight forward, I would think it would be a good idea to at least include a torque spec for the bushing bolt since that is a wear item not covered by the warranty. Without this information, I just tightened everything snug (I'm no weight lifter) and marked the nuts with a paint marker so I could check for loosening. Overall, the initial quality of the product is outstanding. I ordered the 88 duro bushing and NVH is increased moderately over stock. However, this is completely acceptable to me given the benefits of this product. On just a short test drive, I noticed much smoother down shifts, reduced "lugging" at low RPM in high gears, and a reduction in torque steer. As long as it lasts, I am very happy with this mount. Much better than stock and reasonably priced.

    Incredible improvement

Posted by Andy on 19th Jan 2013

I had the standard broken mount on the passenger side of my Mazda 3. When I saw the design of this mount, it was obvious it was much better than stock. I actually thought it was the wrong part at first, until I studied the pictures for a while, and then the lightbulb came on. :) Simple to put in, figure on an hour. I got the 95 durometer bushings, which transmit more noise than I want, so I'm getting the 70's. I'm not an aggressive driver, so the softer bushings shouldn't be an issue. Car feels completely solid now, which is a real thrill. Rear mount is already ordered, and I'll do that with my next oil change.

    love it, 88 duro

this mount makes the car feel so much more solid compared to the oe. Plus its a great value, and in my opinion better built than others on the market.

    DO NOT GET 70 DURO

Posted by not APMF, but associated on 10th Apr 2011

So in a 2005 Mazda 3 70 Duro lasted one week. It is probably my fault because I have an air intake and probably make to many horse powers. Time to try the 88 Duro's now, assuming these last twice as long I should be good for two weeks of daily driving fun times. Note from admin** Please note that the 70 durometers are meant for street cars where you want a slightly better pedal response, but if you drive hard, or have higher horsepower, then you will likely want 88 or 95 durometers.

    Upgrades motor mounts

Posted by Gary on 10th Mar 2011

My 2007 Mazda3 sGT's original passenger motor mount was completely torn apart. This new AWR replacement was a simple remove and replace affair. The quality welds and workmanship are beautiful. The car now shifts smoother and the car feels more powerful going thru the gears as it's putting the power down instead of flexing on it's mounts. Highly recommended. It's not as quiet as original; but it's not bad at all. Easily liveable day to day.
