An additional battery bracket mounting plate is provided if you have kept the battery in the stock location. For those who have relocated their battery away from the OEM engine compartment, the additional mounting plate will not be needed. This mounting plate is provided with hardware.

Note* This mount is designed for a manual Mazda 2. The bracket will fit an automatic transmission with minor modification to the secondary mounting hole on the bracket.

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in our engine mounts and sway bars that as of May, 2008 we are now backing them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What’s more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, we’ll fix or replace it at our discretion. The warranty is ‘limited’ in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we’ll replace or repair it. As of now, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied for any other items.

    Get one while you can!

Absolutely recommend getting one of these transmission mounts for the 2, in a 62 or 70 durometer for street/ track use! It greatly improves throttle and clutch response while not adding a ton of NVH. I got the 62 durometer and had little to no change in the interior vibrations (already had passenger and RMM installed). Being that I drive this car spiritedly and take it to the canyons every week, I really appreciate the great feedback from the car and the smoother shifts. Don't sleep on getting one for your M2! You can never go wrong with AWR's products and their excellent customer service
