Look no further - AWR Racing has you covered! AWR offers the best valued mounts that suit driver needs. We have durometer options for daily, aggressive, and track driven builds. Our mounts have been street and track proven since 1995.

These mounts are designed to completely support the engine with durometer options to suit all styles of driving. All of our bushings can be replaced at any time. Mounts improve drive line response by inhibiting driveline lash, putting all that motion to the task of moving the car along.

AWR Mazda 3 passenger side mount

Hardware/spacers

Specs:

  • Made in the USA
  • Laser cut and CNC folded
  • Tig welded
  • Aftermarket mount hardware

What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 62 durometer (ultra soft)
  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

Customer input:

"On Wednesday Tony Woodford of AWR installed the passenger side mount on my 2011 Speed 3. My other mounts are stock as of right now, but they will be changed out shortly. Once the mount was installed we took the car for a test drive and I immediately felt the difference. The car was way more positive feeling to my throttle inputs and it was a great improvement with the torque steer of the car. The mount also gave the car a deeper sound as well. The stock mount is way to sloppy for the car and I feel that it takes away from the sporty feeling of the car. As for ease of installation it took only took about 35-45 minutes with some simple tools. The quality and craftsmanship of the mount is great and everything lined right up. We also relocated the stock ground strap that is attached to the stock mount."

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in their engine mounts and sway bars that they back them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What's more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts and sway bars built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, AWR will fix or replace it at their discretion. The warranty is 'limited' in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we'll replace or repair it.

Really Solid, Easy to Install, Works Well

Posted by Matt on 10th Jul 2019

I'd say the hardest part of the installation was getting the clips apart for the coolant reservoir sitting above the mount. Took about an hour to install. The bolt through the bushing should be torqued to 45-50 ft-lbs! No instructions were included in my box but a quick Google search pulled up a tutorial with pictures. The install is very straight forward though. As for driving, the engine is super solid on that side now. There's a noticeable improvement when shifting and accelerating. Vibrations increased a bit but I already had an 88 duro RMM installed. Can't wait to get my TMM too!

    Very good quality build

Great mount. Solid and fits the application correctly. Easy install. Barely noticeable vibration increase. I noticed vibration only when air was on at idle. As others noted, quicker throttle response and no hop. Transmission shifts are more crisp with reduced lugging at lower speeds. I highly recommend this as the best replacement mount out there for this car. Thanks AWR!

    06 mzd3i sedan

Slapped this baby in and immediately from turning the key noticed the difference. A lot of vibration with the 88duro but I don't mind it. Engine sounds a little meatier to me, you may not notice the difference with stock exhaust but I'm not sure. Also, down shifting isn't as jumpy. Doesn't buck the car. Haven't put the AWR rear mount 88duro in yet but I have it and will install it soon. Definitely worth the upgrade my fomoco mount was in two pieces. Don't know how it was holding my engine in place. I knew it failed, didn't know it was in 2 pieces. Literally had separated itself. If you are just daily driving and don't plan on a bunch of mods stick with the 70duro.

    Perfect Fit, Robust Design

This mount oozes quality and strength. After the destruction of another OEM mount, AWR came through in a pinch and got me this mount shipped to my door Ricky Tick. Installation took less than thirty minutes and the results are awesome. With the 70 durometer, there is minimal shaking at idle with the A/C on, no extraneous noise and vibrations during normal driving, and the powdercoat even matches the paint! I have no doubt this mount will outlive the car. Thanks AWR!

    solid bulld

These mounts are no joke. There's a major improvement with the engine. I used to get a lot of hard vibration but now with these mounts, the engine barely moves and the power delivery is much smoother. Just be aware that it vibrates the cabin revving from very low rpms.

Easy Installation , Great Customer Service

Posted by GIOVANNI MENDEZ on 16th Jan 2017

First time doing buisness with AWR and it won't be the last!! The Passenger Side MM is a great looking piece of hardware and light weight compared to the OEM mount. Installation was easy and when I did have questions on what ft lbs of torque the bushing needed(45-50) Tony responded to an email within the hour. You will notice more vibrations at idle but nothing to crazy. Next up is the transmission mount. Thanks AWR

Great alternative to stock PMM mount.

Posted by James. on 10th Oct 2016

So far I have only driven roughly 100 miles with the 70 bushing and I love it! I bought the car with 102,000 miles on it and the original PMM was completely gone. With the new mount I feel like I have a new car! All shifts are like butter now and most engine vibration is gone(besides the new mount vibrations that aren't to bad). Needless to say I would recommend this product to anyone with a Mazda 3 that is tired of changing out the PMM. I will be purchasing the rest of the motor and trans mounts from AWR in the near future.

    damn daniel.

This is a heavy, quailty part. A beautiful silver powder coat, massive bushing ( in my case ) and just looks like a nice part. Mine didnt comr with instructions but thats no big deal, being as i am swapping out an excisting aftermarket PMM because of design shortcomings on their side. Install was easy, and very little vibez. It probably has less unbroken in, than my other did broken in. Good stuff here ladys and gents. Looming forward to my tmm!

    Great build quality

Posted by James J Cordiano on 25th Jul 2016

It's definitely noticeably louder, and some additional vibes as well. Expected some issues with noise and vibes, but you can hear the cam a lot louder now, very pronounced. Alright... Cons out of the way, WOW! I have nearly bald tires, and the grip has increased drastically over blown stock PMM. Wheel hop is eliminated. Shifting has become crisp and precise. I love the feeling, and the noise/vibes are tolerable.
