Product Overview

AWR Racing's 2004 - 2008 Mazda 3 complete engine mount kit is a must have for any Mazda 3 owner. Want less engine movement, cleaner shifts, wheel hop to disappear, as well as many more benefits? Look no further -  AWR Racing has you covered! AWR offers the best valued mounts that suit driver needs. We have durometer options for daily, aggressive, and track driven builds. Our mounts have been street and track proven since 1995.

These mounts are designed to completely support the engine and transmission with durometer options to suit all styles of driving. All of our bushings can be replaced at any time. Mounts improve drive line response by inhibiting driveline lash, putting all that motion to the task of moving the car along.

Items included:

  • AWR Mazda 3 rear motor mount

  • AWR Mazda 3 passenger side mount

  • AWR Mazda 3 transmission mount

  • Hardware/spacers

Specs:

  • Made in the USA
  • Laser cut and CNC folded
  • Tig welded passenger and transmission mount, mig welded rear motor mount
  • Aftermarket mount hardware
  • Machined inner sleeves, nickel plated
  • Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (62, 70, 88, and 95 durometer applicable for the M3)
  • Powder coated in silver for a very durable finish.

What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 62 durometer (ultra soft)
  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

Application:

2004 - 2008 Mazda 3

Automatic transmission

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in our engine mounts and sway bars that as of May, 2008 we are now backing them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What’s more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, we’ll fix or replace it at our discretion. The warranty is ‘limited’ in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we’ll replace or repair it. As of now, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied for any other items.

These mounts are a great replacement compared to oem. Install wasn't bad, transmission mount took the longest. Good quality.

    Could be better

There more difficult to put in then the factory mounts. The whiles for the bolts and nuts are not exact making more difficult to install, specifically the rear mount, having to lower and raise the engine trying to line up the wholes was the most difficult mount to install. That being said I have the 88's which are for slightly modified and my gears are still grinding specifically in 2nd. I drive fast and I drive hard, and I'm still getting some bouncing around meaning I can feel the transmission moving/shifting as I get on the gas and let off. I was hoping it would be a bit more stiff, so I don't blow another transmission. I would say they are a %1000 times better than original equipment which I have replaced 3 times in 1 yr, and I have only had the vehicle for a yr.
