AWR engine mounts are designed to completely support the engine and transmission with durometer options to suit all styles of driving. All of our bushings can be swapped or replaced at any time. Mounts improve drive line response by inhibiting driveline lash, putting all that motion to the task of moving the car along. What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in our engine mounts and sway bars that as of May, 2008 we are now backing them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What’s more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, we’ll fix or replace it at our discretion. The warranty is ‘limited’ in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we’ll replace or repair it. As of now, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied for any other items.

    Immediately noticed smoother shift and better responses when stepping on the gas. Definitely feel the added NVH when starting the car and when on idle with the A/C on. But I don't mind, just be prepared for it, I cant wait for it to settle.

    Tentatively reviewing this 5/5 considering vibration break-in period INSTALLATION: if you can read you can mount. Might need a bit of elbow grease to remove the two bolts primary bolts. AWR sends an installation guide via email if you ask (don't know why they don't have it available). NOTE: The torque specs are different vs. CS; someone previously torqued it to CS specs & it snapped. INITIAL REACTION (butt dyno): throttle response is absolutely improved & driving low speeds at low gears are much smoother. Even at 62Duro, vibration is noticeable w/ & w/out AC on. I can only imagine what 70+Duro & Automatics feel. It feels like my old e36 when I had a vacuum hose leak somewhere. Of course, there's a breaking-in period so fingers crossed vibration lessens. VERDICT: For now, 7/10 but 10/10 if those vibrations subside.

    I've used AWR mounts before on other mazda 6s I've owned so knew they were very high quality. This is my first gen 3 Mazda 3 (GT) and the stock rmm is very sloppy, making downshifts more tedious and causing lurching in low gears. The install was easy enough and the charge was pretty dramatic in both shifting , throttle response and cornering. The only downside is some NVH on start up and revving between 950-1100 rpm, and some extra NVH with the AC on at idle. I chose the 62 durometer to try and diminish the NVH and I'm glad I did. Hopefully over the next few hundred miles it will ease up and it normally does on your mounts. I'm very happy with the improvements and it far outweighs the small NVH. I'm a happy driver.

    I bought 70 Durometer and this product is great. Very minor vibration, drives smooth, and great quality and design. Strongly recommended.

    Better shifts no NVH

    This is a must for better shift feel. Went with the new 62 duro bushings to keep good driveablity. There is little, I mean very little NVH, even with the AC on at a stop light. Glad AWR has this very soft bushing option.
