Our mounts have been street and track proven since 1995.

AWR Mazda 3 passenger side mount

Hardware/spacers

Specs:

  • Made in the USA
  • Laser cut and CNC folded
  • Tig welded
  • Aftermarket mount hardware
  • Machined inner sleeves, nickel plated
  • Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (62, 70, 88, and 95 durometer applicable for the Mazda 3)

What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration. Alongside a bigger bushing design, we have launched our tested and proven 62 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane option which is perfect for daily and street use. Are you looking for stability without much NVH transferred to your vehicle? 62 durometer is the perfect solution for you.

62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 62 durometer (ultra soft)
  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

2004 - 2013 Mazda 3

Customer input:

"On Wednesday Tony Woodford of AWR installed the passenger side mount on my 2011 Speed 3. My other mounts are stock as of right now, but they will be changed out shortly. Once the mount was installed we took the car for a test drive and I immediately felt the difference. The car was way more positive feeling to my throttle inputs and it was a great improvement with the torque steer of the car. The mount also gave the car a deeper sound as well. The stock mount is way to sloppy for the car and I feel that it takes away from the sporty feeling of the car. As for ease of installation it took only took about 35-45 minutes with some simple tools. The quality and craftsmanship of the mount is great and everything lined right up. We also relocated the stock ground strap that is attached to the stock mount."

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in their engine mounts and sway bars that they back them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What's more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts and sway bars built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, AWR will fix or replace it at their discretion. The warranty is 'limited' in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we'll replace or repair it.

    Awesome!

Posted by Tom on 7th Jun 2016

As all Mazda 3 owners know, the garbage stock mounts cause all kinds of problems. I replaced the original that came with the car in March 2015. Within months the replacement mount started to give. Engine movement was huge eventually putting too much stress on the drive train and rear mount. I changed the rear mount with another performance one by another company but since the PMM was junk it created a knocking when I would start the car and engine noise was loud. I replaced the passenger mount with this one at 70 duro and it is awesome. Cannot recommend it enough. Thanks AWR! Problem solved. Car feels, sounds and drives great!

    Goodbye to stock motor mounts

Posted by Unknown on 21st Oct 2015

Great looking mounts (I also bought the rear engine mount) that bolted right up to my 06 Mazda 5. I bought the 70 durometer and it seems plenty stiff. On my car there was a ground wire that had to be relocated (very easy to do since there is a threaded hole on the shock tower), other than that it was a direct replacement (there is a online video showing the whole process of replacing both engine mounts). I have had the new motor mounts installed 1 week, so I can not speak to the durability, but I am hopeful they will be better than the crap stock, they sure looks beefy.

    New Motor Mount

Posted by davis on 3rd Feb 2015

I bought this part for my 08 speed and have had it on for about a week thus far and am enjoying it. I haven't opened her up yet with it on because I've just been daily commutting but it's not bad around town. The only downside is that if you get the 88 durometer one you will def hear the change in vibrations from the stock. It might change once broken in more but I'd stick with the 70 for the 07-09 MS3 I'd stick with the 70 durometer. Great part though, I am satisfied. :D

    yes. simply yes.

After reading reviews and debating for hours, I must say I'm satisfied with the mount. I upgraded from the stock Fomoco piece of crap that completely failed and bent both studs. Overall the mount has a great solid feel(88 duro), was easy to install(minus a random wire relocation - 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L), and now that I'm 50 miles in has settled and feels phenomenal. I definitely recommend you buy this if you're looking for increased throttle response and an overall more solid feel!!

Makes a world of a Difference, Superb quality

Posted by Hau on 13th Oct 2014

I ordered the 95 Duro for my Mazda5 Van which fit just fine even though it is not listed under application. The unit is beautiful and very well made. I love the fact that it looks like something that is OEM, this is great where I live where the police pops your hood quite often. The mount helps tremendously with wheelhop and helps a bit with shifting. I also have it paired up with the ford focus electric rear motor mount. There is now more vibration in the carbin but still very acceptable. For the first week you will feel alot more vibration and it dies down as the mount settles, that's normal.

    A Serious Mount

Posted by M Johnson on 8th Oct 2013

This motor mount is seriously engineered and beautifully crafted. Very straightforward installation, aligns perfectly. I got the 70d bushing since car is a daily driver. At startup and very low rpm, there is of course more engine feel/sound transmitted to the cabin than with the OEM part. Seems a bit rough at first but smooth's out totally once you're under way. Highly recommended part!

Nice, solid construction. Easy to install. Clean appearance. More direct feeling to the motor. And finally no more stock mount breaking!

Quality Product, Should Include Torque Specs

Posted by Ben M on 10th Sep 2013

So I received the mount today and installed it right away. Install was a breeze. Only 2 hiccups; first, on my 2008 Mazda 3S Hatch, there was a ground wire/clamp that bolted between the two chassis bolt holes with the OE mount. I had to relocate this with the AWR mount due to the solid bottom plate. Luckily, there is a threaded hole on the passenger shock tower on my car that I was able to use as a replacement, even if only in the short term. Second, there were no torque specs or instructions included with the mount. Although install is very straight forward, I would think it would be a good idea to at least include a torque spec for the bushing bolt since that is a wear item not covered by the warranty. Without this information, I just tightened everything snug (I'm no weight lifter) and marked the nuts with a paint marker so I could check for loosening. Overall, the initial quality of the product is outstanding. I ordered the 88 duro bushing and NVH is increased moderately over stock. However, this is completely acceptable to me given the benefits of this product. On just a short test drive, I noticed much smoother down shifts, reduced "lugging" at low RPM in high gears, and a reduction in torque steer. As long as it lasts, I am very happy with this mount. Much better than stock and reasonably priced.
