Product Overview

2013 - 2018 Ford Focus ST rear motor mount by AWR Racing.

This mount is a must have for any ST owner. Want less engine movement, cleaner shifts, wheel hop to disappear, as well as many more benefits? Look no further - AWR Racing has you covered! AWR offers the best valued mounts that suit driver needs. We have durometer options for daily, aggressive, and track driven builds. Our mounts have been street and track proven since 1995.

These mounts are designed to completely support the engine and transmission with durometer options to suit all styles of driving. All of our bushings can be replaced at any time. Mounts improve drive line response by inhibiting driveline lash, putting all that motion to the task of moving the car along. Say goodbye to wheel hop and hello to smoother shifts with this RMM!

Items included:

  • AWR Ford Focus ST rear motor mount

Specs:

  • Made in the USA
  • Laser cut and CNC folded
  • Welded in house
  • Aftermarket mount hardware
  • Machined inner sleeves, nickel plated
  • Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (70, 88, and 95 durometer applicable for the Focus ST)
  • Powder coated in black or red for a very durable finish.

What durometer is best for you?

At AWR Racing, we have been making high performance mounts since 1995. We have updated our motor mounts to a larger bushing size which helps reduce NVH, specifically reduce cabin vibration.

70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds. You can always opt for a different durometer if your first choice doesn't suit you needs, all of our bushings can be swapped out or replaced!

  • 70 durometer (soft)
  • 88 durometer (medium)
  • 95 durometer (hard)

Initial NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) will start to settle after about 500 miles driven.

Application:

2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 Ford Focus ST

*OEM motor mounts are known to be very sloppy and often break unexpectedly, order AWR's and never replace a mount ever again!

Warranty Information

AWR believes so strongly in our engine mounts and sway bars that as of May, 2008 we are now backing them with a limited Lifetime Warranty. What’s more, this warranty, excluding bushings, is retroactive to all mounts built previously by AWR. Basically, if it breaks or fails, we’ll fix or replace it at our discretion. The warranty is ‘limited’ in that bushings are considered a normal wear item, so the urethane or rubber bushings are not covered, but if the metal cracks, breaks or otherwise fails, we’ll replace or repair it. As of now, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied for any other items.

    Hands down best mounts

Posted by Mike Kessler on 12th Oct 2022

I run all three mounts on my focus st. I have tried multiple other brands mounts. Awr by far is the most comfortable and solid feeling of them all. Highly recommend these mounts. I run the 88 dura in my passenger and trans mount and 95 in the rear. Probably one of my favorite mods I have done to my big turbo st. These mounts completely change the way the car feels and handles.

    Best Focus ST rear mount.

My JBR rear mount kept coming loose. After trying to fix it three times I decided it was time to try the AWR. ST feels 100% better. The hype is real man. Going to order the front mounts next pay check.

Good Vibrations! I instantly noticed how planted the car feels in acceleration. Wheel hop was also reduced. 5 Stars for sure!!!

    Focus ST Rear Motor Mount

Posted by James E. Lewis on 6th Apr 2021

I’m 57 and have been a hardcore car guy since I was 4 or 5 years old, helping my much older brothers work on their muscle cars back in the late ‘60s. I had my first vehicle at 12, and have owned over 70 cars, trucks, and bikes during all these years. All but a couple were done on a very tight budget. I did all my own work, with the exception of help from my sons. No “checkbook cars” for me. I’ve built several nasty cars, starting with 5.0 Mustangs, and then moving on to fast import/tuner cars. I’ve been racing SCCA Pro Solo since 1987. I was a regional manager for Super Shops and covered their Pacific Northwest region for several years before they went out of business. I’ve been a service manager, tech school instructor (UTI), and have worked for 20 years as an expert witness in automotive cases. I’m telling you all of this because it takes a lot to get me excited about buying ONE part and getting ONE package delivered. The rear motor mount I bought from AWR for my 2017 Focus ST did that, though – I got excited. In the day and age of anonymous purchases, buying stuff through Amazon or eBay, and just clicking “add to cart” on your phone and a package arrives, I was totally blown away by the AWR experience, as well as learning the history of the company. There are several factors involved here: 1) Ali is awesome, personable, and really knows her stuff. Don’t let the young girl appearance fool you – she’s a hardcore car person. Her family has been racing for years and building products, and you can tell every single bit of every experience rubbed off on her. She has a Mazdaspeed 3 and a Focus ST as daily drivers. She needs to run for governor or president or something. 2) These mounts are made in California BY GOD America, USA. That may not mean much to some younger folks, but having brothers who are Vietnam vets and being a Cold War veteran myself, it’s good to know these parts aren’t built by some 11-year-old kid in Bangladesh where they make 80 cents a day. Or China. They’re cut, welded, finished, and packaged right there in Vista, CA. Ali’s brother, Colin, and her dad, Tony, do all the fabricating work. Not a robot in a factory. And not a kid in a sweat shop 3) These mounts are above and beyond virtually anything else on the market – again, they’re hand-fabbed, but they also offer a range of polyurethane durometer ratings – from 62 for a stock vehicle, to 70 for mildly modified, to 88 for the more rowdy of us, to 95 for track/race applications. I bought the 70 since all I’ve done is intake and exhaust, and I was blown away at how much this one part made a difference. It’s like it ties up all the loose ends in the front end of the car – shifting, the clutch pedal, to bumps, curves, and straights – everything feels different now, and everything feels PLANTED. There’s no noise or vibration, and no wheel hop. Torque steer has been minimized down to nearly non-existent. I can only imagine how good things will feel as I do more with the car’s suspension and add the other two AWR mounts that are available for my car. Do yourself a favor. Do business with AWR Racing for all the reasons I’ve listed above. You’ll be happy, and the experience will be like nothing you’ve seen when you’ve ordered other stuff from other places. Like I told Tony on the phone…THIS is what being a car enthusiast is about. Passion, family, cars, parts, and taking care of business. James E. Lewis, M.Ed., CDS Expert witness/car enthusiast/author

    Day and night difference

Posted by Auggie D. on 27th Jan 2021

Wow. The reduction in engine roll, wheel hop, and all around feel is amazing! My favorite part is the available options of bushing stiffness. Makes this sports car feel like a sports car.
